Who handles your data

What we collect and why

• Your questionnaire answers, starter budget and contractor brief are saved so you can return to them and receive a personal summary.
• If you submit a designer inquiry, we also collect your name, email, phone, optional note and any floor plans you upload. We use these to review the project and respond with an individual proposal.
• The questionnaire generates a summary from your selections. It does not make a decision with legal or similarly significant effects about you.

We process inquiry details to take steps at your request before a possible service agreement. We save drafts under our legitimate interest in letting you continue the service you started. We do not use this information for marketing messages.

Legal grounds for processing

• Contract performance and steps taken at your request before a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)): responding to a designer inquiry, processing a purchase, delivering documents, verifying your email and providing access in My home.
• Legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)): keeping purchase records required for accounting and taxation, and complying with consumer protection obligations.
• Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)): enabling you to resume a draft, securing the website, preventing misuse and establishing, exercising or defending legal claims. Only information necessary for these purposes is processed.
• Consent (Article 6(1)(a)): optional Google Analytics. You can withdraw it at any time through Cookie settings. Agreement to immediate digital delivery concerns the purchase contract; it is separate from analytics consent.

Purchased documents

Payments are processed on Stripe's checkout page. We do not store card details on this website. After a confirmed payment, we save your checkout email, product, amount, currency, purchase date and payment identifiers to provide access to purchased files in My home. Access requires signing in with the same verified email. Resend delivers the purchase confirmation and access instructions. A full refund removes access to that purchase. Before checkout we save your acceptance of the purchase terms and immediate delivery consent, the terms version and a copy, and link this record to the confirmed order. Withdrawal form details are used to record your statement and deliver a receipt and seller notification. Uncompleted consent records are deleted after 30 days; completed purchase records are retained for accounting and legal claims for the applicable statutory periods.

My home account

If you choose to save information in your account, we verify your email with a single-use sign-in link valid for 15 minutes. Resend processes your email to deliver that link. After confirmation, the draft from the requesting browser and submitted inquiries with the same verified email are linked to your account. A necessary, protected session cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. Signing out revokes the current session and removes the local copy of your answers. We also retain hashed request identifiers briefly to limit abusive email requests. Your account is not used for marketing.

How long it is kept

• Incomplete drafts: 90 days from the last update.
• Submitted inquiries and attached floor plans: 12 months from submission.

Expired server records and uploaded files are removed during routine site use. You may ask for earlier deletion by emailing us.

Saving on your device and visitor counts

A necessary cookie identifies your draft for up to 90 days. Your answers are also saved in this browser so you can continue later; the local copy expires after 90 days of inactivity and is removed after a successful inquiry. Language choice is remembered in browser storage. To count visits, the site stores a temporary marker in the current tab and saves only an aggregate daily count by language. The count does not identify you or store your IP address. We do not use advertising cookies.

Optional Google Analytics

Only with your consent, Google Analytics uses _ga and _ga_* cookies (up to 180 days) to measure visits, approximate location, traffic sources and interactions. Google processes browser and device information. We do not send your questionnaire answers, budget, name, email, phone or floor plans to Analytics. Advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled. With analytics consent, we also measure product views, document preview opens, buy-button clicks, checkout starts, questionnaire completion and confirmed purchases. Purchase measurement sends only the product, amount, currency and a pseudonymous transaction identifier; it does not send your checkout email or other contact details. Purchases are verified against the Stripe-confirmed order.

You can reject analytics or withdraw consent at any time using “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page. Your choice is remembered for 180 days. Only with analytics consent, browser storage temporarily remembers a random checkout reference for up to 48 hours to verify a completed purchase, and a pseudonymous transaction identifier for up to 30 days to prevent duplicate measurement. Withdrawing consent clears these measurement records. Rejecting does not limit the website tools. Analytics starts after consent and cannot recover earlier visits. Who can access it

The inquiry is accessible to OUYOU for responding to you. The website is hosted through OpenAI Sites, using Cloudflare infrastructure for its application, database and file storage. These technical providers process information needed to operate the site. Stripe processes payments. Resend delivers a notification to OUYOU containing your contact details, project note and inquiry reference. Your questionnaire, budget and floor plans remain in the site's protected inquiry view. We do not publish your inquiry or floor plans.

Data transfers outside the EEA

Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., United States) sends sign-in links, purchase confirmations and inquiry notifications. Email addresses, message content and delivery logs are processed and stored in the United States. Choosing an EU sending region does not move stored data to the EU. Resend states that transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses in its Data Processing Addendum and its participation in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Your choices and rights

You can request access to your data, correction, erasure or restriction of processing, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where the GDPR conditions apply, you may receive the data you provided in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and have it transmitted to another controller where technically feasible (data portability). You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Some records must be retained to fulfil legal obligations or defend legal claims.
